Video Editing | You have the footage — we cut it into something usable

Filmed clips, phone footage, event coverage, old photos — if the material exists, the rest is our job.

Editing is not just joining clips together. The same material, cut in a different order, with different pauses and pacing, becomes a different film. Our job is to shape what you have into something watchable, then add subtitles, grading and sound.

What is included

  • Sorting and selection: picking the usable takes out of the rushes, cutting repeats, soft focus and filler words
  • Cutting and pacing: deciding order, length and where to let a moment breathe
  • Colour grading: matching shots that were filmed differently, and setting the mood for the purpose
  • Subtitles and title cards: full subtitles, key-message cards, title design
  • Motion graphics: logo animation, information cards, simple transition design
  • Sound: music selection and editing, level balancing, basic noise reduction
  • Multiple versions: horizontal 1920×1080 and vertical 1080×1920 — the same material can be delivered both ways

Common reasons people come to us

  • Hours of footage from an event, a press conference or a year-end party that needs a highlights cut
  • A YouTube channel or podcast on a regular schedule where editing eats too much time
  • Brand films and product introductions that need fuller post-production
  • Weddings and memorial films, where the material is scattered across several people’s phones
  • A batch of social shorts that need a consistent template

What editing can and cannot do

It is more useful to be clear about the limits:

  • What we can do: turn loose material into a film with rhythm, match the colour across shots, add subtitles and sound, and bring it up to a standard you can publish.
  • What we cannot do: fix what went wrong during filming. A key shot that was never captured, badly out-of-focus footage, sound that was ruined on the day — editing cannot recover those, and we will say so at the assessment stage.

If you are not sure the material is enough, send it over and we will look before you commit to anything. That step is free.

合作流程

每一件案子都是客製的,所以流程從「先看過素材」開始,而不是先開價。

Tell us what you need

By LINE, email or the request form — whichever suits you. Tell us what the video is for, the style you have in mind, what text needs to appear, and roughly how long it should run.

Send the footage

Share a Google Drive folder, with the files named in the order you want them (01, 02, 03…). Ordered footage makes the quote more accurate and saves a lot of back-and-forth.

Assessment and quote

Once we have the full picture of the footage and the brief, we confirm what is feasible and send a quote for you to decide on.

Production and delivery

Work starts once the quote is agreed. We deliver a first cut on the agreed schedule, and the final file through Google Drive after your revisions.

常見問題

How is editing quoted?

Pricing depends on length, volume of footage, effects and the amount of subtitling required — there is no fixed package.

We look at the material and the full brief first, confirm what is actually feasible, and only then issue a quote — never an unfounded price range up front.

How do I send the footage?

Create a folder on Google Drive, upload the files and share the link with us. Please name the files in the order you want them (01, 02, 03…) — this one step saves a great deal of back-and-forth.

How many rounds of revision are included?

The quote states how many rounds are included, which normally covers ordinary adjustments. If the direction changes mid-way and the film needs recutting, we will discuss that separately.

Is there a limit on how much footage I can send?

No hard limit, but the volume directly affects the hours and therefore the quote. If you have a lot, deleting the obviously unusable takes first will save money.

Can you add music? What about copyright?

Yes. We use commercially licensed music libraries. If you want a commercial pop song, private playback is usually fine, but publishing it online will very likely be flagged for infringement — that is a judgement call for you.

Can you deliver both vertical and horizontal?

Yes. Horizontal 1920×1080 and vertical 1080×1920 are both possible, and the same material can be delivered in both. Just tell us which platforms you are posting to.

Have footage you want cut?

Email us and we will reply with what else we need to know, then move on to assessment and a quote. LINE works too.
